This is the second day of our trip to France. This day is a full free day to spend in Nice. Our main mission is to climb up to the Castle Hill Park, enjoy the view of the Bay of Angels, and take some photos.
C'est le deuxième jour de notre voyage en France. Aujourd'hui est une journée entièrement libre à passer à Nice. Notre principale mission est de monter jusqu'au Parc de la Colline du Château, profiter de la vue sur la Baie des Anges et prendre quelques photos.
We purchased croissants and other breakfast items from a supermarket. Afterward, we took a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais. When you think of Nice, you think of these blue-striped parasols. We continued our walk towards the Castle Hill Park (Parc de la colline du château).
C'est avec des croissants et d'autres articles de petit-déjeuner que nous avons fait nos achats dans un supermarché. Ensuite, nous nous sommes promenés le long de la Promenade des Anglais. We took an elevator up to the castle to see Nice's "Bay of Angels." Unfortunately, it was overcast, but this was the sight we had most wanted to see in Nice. It was a moving experience.

The contrast between the red roofs of the old town and the deep blue sea was a breathtaking view.

After descending from Castle Hill Park, feeling a bit unsure about the system, we took a bus to visit the Chagall Museum. To our disappointment, we arrived only to find out that it was closing in two hours. We regained our spirits and walked to the Matisse Museum. Upon finally arriving, we were met with an unbelievably long line for entry and had to give up. We returned to the city center to find a restaurant for lunch. We found an Italian restaurant called Angelo with an open terrace at the Boscolo Exedra Nice, and we decided to dine there. The pasta and champagne here were so delicious that we completely forgot about not being able to enter the museums. It was a very good restaurant, and the staff were extremely friendly. If we ever return to Nice, we'd definitely want to visit this restaurant again, as well as stay at this hotel.
"Après être descendus du Parc de la Colline du Château, un peu incertains quant au système, nous avons pris un bus pour visiter le Musée Chagall. À notre déception, nous sommes arrivés pour découvrir qu'il allait fermer dans deux heures. Nous avons repris notre enthousiasme et sommes allés au Musée Matisse. À notre arrivée, nous avons été confrontés à une file d'attente incroyablement longue et avons dû renoncer. Nous sommes retournés au centre-ville pour trouver un restaurant pour le déjeuner. Nous avons découvert un restaurant italien appelé Angelo avec une terrasse ouverte au Boscolo Exedra Nice, et nous avons décidé d'y dîner. Les pâtes et le champagne étaient tellement délicieux que nous avons complètement oublié de ne pas avoir pu entrer dans les musées. C'était un très bon restaurant, et le personnel était extrêmement sympathique. Si nous revenons un jour à Nice, nous aimerions certainement revisiter ce restaurant et séjourner dans cet hôtel.

For dinner that night, we had made a reservation at the restaurant Le 3e at the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais du la Mediterranee. Unfortunately, it was drizzling, so we had to dine indoors. The staff's service was excellent, and it was a very enjoyable dinner.
Pour le dîner de ce soir-là, nous avions réservé une table au restaurant Le 3e à l'Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée. Malheureusement, il bruinait, nous avons donc dû dîner à l'intérieur. Le service du personnel était excellent, et le dîner était très agréable.

At night, the Negresco shone even brighter, exuding the grandeur of Nice's landmark. Artworks were displayed on each floor of the hotel, making it a delight to explore.
La nuit, le Negresco brillait encore plus, dégageant la grandeur du repère de Nice. Des œuvres d'art étaient exposées à chaque étage de l'hôtel, ce qui en faisait un plaisir à explorer.

The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were kind and welcoming.
★ Facilities:
The historical exhibits and interior decorations were beautiful. The room furnishings appeared luxurious, and the air conditioning was comfortable. The only concern was the slippery floor in the shower.
★ Extraordinary Experience:
From the moment we entered, we felt like we were in a world apart. The luxurious room furnishings and the breathtaking view of the sea from the window made it an exceptional experience.
★ Hospitality:
The staff's hospitality was top-notch, friendly, and kind. When I asked the concierge to send an airmail for me during check-out, he didn't charge me for it. The welcome champagne and fresh flowers in the room were beautiful. There was also a turndown service in the evening.
★ Value:
It offered great value for the price.
