We have just returned from a two-day, one-night trip immersing ourselves fully in the charm of Nagasaki.

Arriving in Nagasaki around lunchtime, we enjoyed the local specialty, Nagasaki Champon, at a restaurant in the station building. It was a delicious dish with a salty taste.
Arrivés à Nagasaki vers midi, nous avons apprécié la spécialité locale, le Champon de Nagasaki, dans un restaurant du bâtiment de la gare. C'était un plat délicieux avec un goût salé.
Then, our first visit was to the Monument of the 26 Martyrs of Japan. Oura Cathedral is said to be built towards this martyrdom site in Nishizaka Park.

Next, we visited Sanno Shrine. Famous for its single-pillar torii gate left standing by the atomic bomb blast, and also for the resurrected camphor tree, it was quite impressive.

We then took a taxi to KAZEGASHIRAKOEN. Located on a mountain peak overlooking Nagasaki Port, it offered a fantastic view. Our purpose was to take photos with the statue of Ryoma Sakamoto.

Following that, we visited the Oura Cathedral, a national treasure and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learning about the historical fact of hidden believers being found here was moving.

Afterwards, we strolled around the Oranda-zaka area, enjoying the atmosphere of Nagasaki's streets.

We were looking forward to staying at the newly opened MARIOTT hotel this time in Nagasaki. We checked in immediately.

With luxurious interior decoration, Nagasaki-themed framed pictures, and most importantly, a great view of Nagasaki Port and Inasayama from the hotel, it was a fantastic stay. The staff's hospitality was also excellent. We seemed to have been upgraded to a room with a balcony. The view of the sea from the balcony was amazing, making it a wonderful stay.
Avec une décoration intérieure luxueuse, des tableaux encadrés sur le thème de Nagasaki et surtout une vue magnifique sur le port de Nagasaki et Inasayama depuis l'hôtel, c'était un séjour fantastique. L'hospitalité du personnel était également excellente. Nous semblions avoir été surclassés dans une chambre avec balcon. La vue sur la mer depuis le balcon était incroyable, ce qui en a fait un séjour merveilleux.
For dinner, we visited TAIMASA-SUSHI, a sushi restaurant. We asked for a course of local sake and sushi. We were impressed by the freshness and deliciousness of the sushi and local fish dishes.

Afterwards, we took photos at the beautifully lit "Megane Bridge" and concluded our sightseeing for the day before returning to the hotel.

At the Marriott, we used the bar and enjoyed our evening stay.

The next day, we took a bus to the airport and returned via Itami Airport. Itami Airport had many eateries, and the set meal we had, which included Kujo green onion soba and Inarizushi, was delicious.

The exterior, designed with the motif of a "passenger ship" in line with Nagasaki's port town atmosphere, leaves a lasting impression. The interior decor also captures the mood of Nagasaki, and the views of the harbor and mountains are truly magnificent.
