This trip marks my first visit to the newly rebuilt The Okura Tokyo. As soon as I stepped inside, the lobby had an uncanny resemblance to the old hotel. It brought back memories of the times when I used to bring my children here when they were little. The nostalgic ambiance was truly heartwarming.

Upon arriving at The Okura Tokyo by taxi from Tokyo Station, We encountered a slight confusion with the driver who wasn't sure where to drop us off. Nevertheless, I asked him to let us out at that point, and We entered the hotel for the first time.
The hotel had transformed into a majestic building that housed not only accommodation but also offices. To the left was the Heritage Wing, and to the right was the Prestige Wing.
This hotel is a pride of Japan, as it has hosted many esteemed guests, including presidents of the United States.
À notre arrivée à The Okura Tokyo en taxi depuis la gare de Tokyo, nous avons rencontré une légère confusion avec le chauffeur qui ne savait pas où nous déposer. Néanmoins, je lui ai demandé de nous laisser à cet endroit, et nous sommes entrés dans l'hôtel pour la première fois.

The chef skillfully prepared the anago by filleting it halfway and seasoning it with two different flavors: sauce and salt. It was a delightful experience, and the taste was truly delicious.

Upon requesting a dry sake, the recommended choice was "Yamatori," a type of sake. It paired wonderfully with the sushi and was incredibly delicious. We enjoyed three servings of sake: chilled, chilled, and lukewarm.

We returned to Tokyo Station for lunch and headed to the Palace Hotel, where we had made a reservation.

At the Grand Kitchen, we toasted with a glass of sparkling wine (Ca'del Bosco Brut Cuvee Prestige)! It was a moment of grace and bliss, thoroughly enjoyable. The wine was so delicious that after returning home, I searched for it online to purchase.
This time, we learned from our experience and didn't arrive by car all the way to the departure station.

The classic trio that never disappoints is sharing a Caesar salad, Margherita pizza, and pasta (this time, the Pescatore). It's a foolproof combination that always hits the spot.
